Moke Ga

Looking for the most affordable Korean Restaurant in the City? Restaurant that allows you, to create and cook your own food?

Check this out!!!!

The concept of The Pearl Meat Shop somewhat similar to a Yakiniku house but with a different twist. Since it was a meat shop, they have several cuts of meat to choose from. The meat cuts were listed under their Korean names with English translations. They have names like Samgyeopsal (pork strips), Moksal (pork neck), and Galmaegisal (pork skirt meat) for the pork cuts. There were 8 choices of beef cuts including short plate (U-Samgyeop), Ansim (Tenderloin), Chuck Eye Roll (Mokdeungsim). and the fancy Angus Rib Eye (Kotsdengsim).

We tried the famous Samgyeopsal. An order (180 grams) costs Php 180 and comes with a small basket of lettuce and cabbage, a plate of onions, green chilis, and garlic, a saucer of sesame oil with salt and pepper, and ssamjang, all of which you can ask for refills for free, except for the samgyeopsal, of course. A steaming bowl of tofu and veggie soup, is also served with the samgyeopsal. Can't live without rice? A cup costs Php 50.

Pearl Meat Shop And Restaurant Menu. Inexpensive, right?

A bottle of softdrink costs Php 30, a can of juice go for Php 40, Php 50-60 for local beer, and Php 150 for soju. Water is unlimited.

That was a very filling meal and definitely we really enjoyed watching the meat being cooked in front of us, now that’s some barbecue, Korean style!

Do check it out, the meat shop cum restaurant is located at A.S. Fortuna, Mandaue City.

Cebu Yellow Submarine

From the highest peak in Cebu, now we will go to the deepest ocean of Lapu – Lapu.

"CEBU YELLOW SUBMARINE" built in 1989 in Antwerp, Belgium, spans a length of 22.2 meters and weighs 99 tons. It can travel at a maximum speed of five knots and runs on an electro-hydraulic system battery that lasts up to 72 hours.

Another reason why people should choose Cebu, now known as Asia's All in One Destination! Underwater Tourism? Here we go!

Get ready to experience spectacular, breath-taking undersea views, a mixture of colorful species and well-crafted corals in the depths of Cebu, considered as one of the best islands in Asia! Definitely, It's More Fun in Cebu .

Upon reaching the reception area, check for your reservations and pay the cashier P1,200 for the ride. Currently they only accept cash payments. After the payment, you will be issued your tickets and you will then need to proceed to the introduction area near the beach.

The ride is very in demand since there are only several trips per day and the submarine can only accommodate a maximum of 48 people at a time so you better call to reserve and don’t ever come in late.

The tourist submarine brings guests to a depth of 35 meters and takes them on an underwater tour of Lapu-Lapu seas. Guests sit facing the portholes or glass windows that provide them a view of the different fish species and other underwater scenes.

On that day the current was so strong and the water was a bit hazy. But it was so amazing I saw a huge blue star fish, a school of fish, colorful and different sea creatures.

A nice bubble show when the submarine slowly ascends from the water. There will also be a couple of divers who will show the guests a puffer fish – which I am not a fan of because they literally push the fish against the window to show a “cute” or “funny” sea creature. Of course it was a treat for the kids but I felt bad for the fish.

Overall it was an awesome experience! An opportunity to ride a real submarine!! It’s so Cool!!

Cebu Yellow Submarine schedule

Cebu Yellow Submarine operations at Hadsan Cove start at 9 a.m.

Guests interested in booking a tour may call the Cebu Yellow Submarine numbers – 0915-7207000, 0999-7147000, 0933-7197000, 032-5149306 – for reservations or inquiries.

Cebu Yellow Submarine rate : Adults (P1,200), Kids 4-12 years old (P900).

Kids who are three years old and below ride for free..
